* Mackey Metal Roofing & Calbar recommend the use of Calbar 10-520 Metal Roof Primer for projects located in areas that experience severe winter weather conditions such as heavy snow / ice accumulation.

MAINTENANCE:
- Damaged areas may be repaired using Calbar Roof Sealer (CRS). Please refer to the appropriate data sheet for this product.
TECHNICAL DATA:
- 73% solid, co-polymer acrylic, elastomeric with corrosion inhibitors
- VOC Content: Less than 10 grams per liter

LIMITATIONS:
Areas with rush must be spot primed. A test patch should be applied to any roof that has been coated with a factory finish. We strongly recommend that proper adhesion to your factory finish be tested using the Adhesion Tape Test as defined by ASTM D-3359.
PRECAUTIONS:
Apply only at temperatures from 40º F to 90º F (air and surface). Do not paint if rain is forecast within the tack-free time. Starting after 10am and stopping by 4pm gives best results. Condensation on wet paint film will flatten the finish of the coating prematurely and unevenly, but does not affect adhesion or durability. Never paint over condensation. Painting at temperatures above 90º F will cause all coatings to dry too quickly, resulting in poor adhesion and flexibility. Refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet for complete health and environmental information.
WARRANTY:

This product is accompanied by a manufacturer warranty which is detailed as follows:

"The manufacturer warrants its coatings and sealants to be free from defects in materials, but makes no warranty as to appearance or color. Since surface preparation, method of application, environmental and other on-site conditions are beyond their control and can and do affect the performance of this product, the manufacturer makes no other warranty, expressed or implied, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, with respect to the manufacturer's sealants and coatings. The manufacturer's sold obligation shall be, at its option, to replace this product or refund the purchase price of the quantity of Calbar coatings or sealants proved to be defective. The manufacturer shall not be liable for any loss or damage including incidental or consequential damage arising from the use of Calbar products."

Features

A waterborne acrylic, elastomeric coating for use on all metal roofing without a primer*, Shower-Proof "WB" is a faster drying, longer lasting, easier to apply, alternative to oil-based coatings for metal roofing. A premium quality, waterproof decorative coating for use on all common metal roofing and rain-carrying products. This product is "Shower-Proof" in just 1 hour. This co-polymer formulation combines durability and anti-corrosive properties into a product that will enhance and protect your investment in metal roofing for years. "WB" dries to a flat finish. May be applied over asphalt coatings, vinyl, copper, stainless steel, or any zinc coated (galvanized) metals, including Terne and Terne II. Will seal pin holes and other minor defects. For larger openings / gaps, use Calbar Roof Seal (CRS) prior to applying primer / paint.
- Coverage: 200 square feet per gallon (depending on the surface of the metal and texture) 8 wet mils, 6 dry mils thick.
- Dry-Time: 1 hour
- Re-Coat Time: 4 hours
